Tutoring

We offer tutors in all subjects, including math, science and the humanities.  Additionally, all tutors are trained in the Snyder Relational Learning Method.  This method recognizes that we all have “Strengths and Stretches” – areas where we are more likely to excel and areas where we could use a little more help.  Thus, tutors trained in this method simultaneously assist students with overcoming their academic challenges while also ensuring that the student identifies and understands their strengths.  For instance, if a student struggles in science, we make every effort to ensure that the student recognizes their achievements in other aspects of their life.  Basically, in the Snyder Relational Learning Method, we utilize strengths to support stretches.  If a student feels good about themselves in one area, it can help them to “bridge” their successes to another avenue of their academic journey.
